Board Meeting

January 31, 2010

Firehouse

Attending:  Don Milroy, Kim Peacock, Pat Bieneman, Suzy Kett, Kevin Mackin, Jackie York, Robin Madden, Jack MacArthur, Pat Gordon, Jeff Minett, Cathy Crowe, and Kevin Stevens.

Don Milroy called the meeting to order at 2:11 p.m. saying the primary purpose of the meeting was to elect officers and to pick dates for the year’s events.

The following were nominated for officer positions and the votes were unanimous:

Don Milroy was elected President

Pat Bieneman was elected Vice President

Robin Madden was elected Secretary

Pat Gordon was elected Treasurer

Dates were set for island events as follows:

April 4: Easter Sunday Pancake Breakfast

March 20:        Spring Fling TBD

April 25:           Lights out Turtle party on the beach

Nov 13:            Art in the Palms

Jan 29, 2011:   Street Dance

Jan 30, 2011:   Annual Meeting & Elections

Other Business:

Pat Gordon asked for input on the budget.  Board agreed to put in a line item for 2 dune walkovers.

House numbering:  Agreed to email a photo of house # sign to PIE members plus price, which they will be able to order from sign company directly.

Don adjourned the meeting at 2:35 p.m.
