Board Meeting
November 12, 2007

Attending: Board
Members Carol Peterson,
Don Milroy, Suzy Kett,
Pat Gordon, Gaye Corozzo,
Pat Bieneman, Kevin
Mackin, Bob Horswill,
and Kim Peacock.
Carol called the meeting
to order at 5:05 pm.
Pat Bieneman move to
approve the May meeting
minutes. The Minutes
were approved.
Pat Gordon discussed
preliminary Art in the
Palms revenues and cost
numbers.
The Board set next
year’s Art in the Palms
for November 8th.
Carol will forward to
Kim addresses, text and
items for which Kim will
generate and mail
thank-you letters to
people who donated items
for the festival. Kim
will also generate
letters to thank artists
and others who donated
to the silent auction.
Don moved to approve the
Treasurer’s Report.
Gaye seconded. Motion
passed.
The Board set other
dates for 2008:
Jan 29th –
Annual Meeting
April 12th –
PIE Annual Dinner Dance
May 4th – Lights Out
Turtle Party
Oct 18th –
Annual Beach Clean Up
(Pat Gordon will head
up)
Don discussed getting an
actual 1-Day Exemption
for parking at Art in
the Palms. He also
talked about the status
of the Panama Blvd
“Vacation” issue. Don
will follow up with
Valerie and Dean to see
where the issue stands.
Bob brought up
Recycling on the
island. Kim brought up
Lagoon Water Testing.
Carol will follow up
with Dick Aulenti.
Members discussed
candidates for the 2008
Board. Carol reminded
members that the next
meeting is scheduled for
December 3rd.
Carol adjourned the
meeting at 6:03 p.m.
