 Present: Carol Peterson, Kevin Mackin, Sharon Porro, Pat Gordon, Susie Kett, Cassie Ator, Meryl Schaffer

 Absent: Steve Osborne, Gay Carozzo, Bob Horswill, Kim Peacock

 Meeting called to order by President Carol Peterson at 7:05 p.m.

 Old Business:

Secretary, Cassie Ator presented the minutes from the June 6 meeting . The minutes were approved as read.

Treasurer, Pat Gordon presented the treasurer’s report. Scholarship fund - $5,374.61; Strong

fund - $2,105.07; Legal fund - $14,965.03. The treasurer’s report was approved.

Carol read two thank yous: 1. Note for our donation to the Lemon Bay Conservancy 2.Note from Jan Somers ,mother of Stephanie, who received a scholarship.

 New Business:

Items were discussed involving some decisions on Art in the Palms .

1.  Island tours may not be such a good thing to do.

2.  Trolley rides at $800.00 for the day is too expensive

3.  Parking possibilities may be parking in the gated area on Panama or at the Brennaman offcie.  

     Kevin will check on this

4. Julie has t-shirts and signs for the PIE Booth

5. Releases and photos of earlier years are being prepared for the press

6 .Nine artists have signed up so far

7 .Band  - Smoked Mullet has been hired

8 .Food needs to be increased, Stu is planning his usual, and also others doing hot dogs, ice      cream and a beer tent

9. Silent Auction - all are asked to find donations contact Meryl Shaffer

10. Susie is checking on a possible game of chance to win a nice prize.

 Carol made a motion to adjourn at 8:10p.m. Sharon seconded.
