Why join P.I.E.?

Palm Island Estates Association, Inc. is a non-profit association of homeowners on Knight Island, Palm Island, Don Pedro Island and Thornton Key.  It was formed to promote cooperation among all property owners, to offer a representative voice in civic and community affairs and to provide assistance and improvement to the islands.

Charlotte County recognizes P.I.E. as the voice of our community.

Your membership is not mandatory, but take a moment to think about what we do and what we have done:

ISLAND ACTION FUND
We developed an Island Action Fund to address the state and county on issues that affect our properties and lifestyle.

ROADS & BRIDGES
By county ordinance, most of our roads are not maintained by the county.  P.I.E. helps coordinate island volunteers who clean and grade the roads.  Additionally, we participate in the county advisory committee.

THE ISLAND SCHOLARSHIP FUND
P.I.E. raises money for a fund that offers scholarships to qualifying island kids.

TURTLE PATROL
P.I.E. supports the volunteers who help maintain our island environment.

ISLAND BEACH CLEAN-UP
P.I.E. coordinates annual beach clean-up as well as litter pick-ups by our volunteers.

P.I.E. SOCIAL COMMITTEE
We make the events you enjoy happen:  the Easter Service, the Lights Out Turtle Party, the summer party, Halloween for the kids, Art in the Palms, and the Holiday Light Contest.

We support you.  We ask your support in return.  For $40 per year, your membership supports P.I.E.  Your participation in our events supports our work.
